Do: Always remove your make up before sleep. Skin needs to breathe overnight and make up don’t let it breathe properly. Drop some olive oil on a cotton pad and gently massage on your face to remove dirt and makeup.

Don’t: Think that exfoliation is a bad thing and harmful to your skin. Exfoliating skin removes dead skin and gives you brighter skin and healthy glow. Apply a paste of powdered walnut and yogurt to exfoliate your skin twice a week.

Do: Eat greens, fresh fruits, vitamins and protein in sufficient amount. Food with low fat, sugar and rich in vitamin C gives you radiant skin.

Don’t: Eat fermented, fried food and salt. Instead of this eat oatmeal, rice, and applesauce.

Sweat It Out


Do: Perform exercise regularly. Yoga, running, and jogging promote blood circulation and speed up the cleansing process of your body.

Don’t: Forget skin care before and after exercise. Use a toner to minimize oil production in your skin. Exfoliate after a workout and apply olive oil and shea butter to moisturize your skin.

Sun and Skin

Do: Apply sunblock with SPF greater than 20 to avoid UVA and UVB rays reaching your skin. Direct sun exposure can cause age spots, wrinkles, and other skin related problems.

Don’t: Avoid using sunscreen in cloudy or cold weather. Never ever expose your skin to direct sunlight.

Beauty Sleep

Do: Sleep 8 hours every night. If you don’t get enough sleep your skin get tired, it sags and you get bags. Don’t risk your beauty by wake up more.

Don’t: Forget to moisturize and wash your skin before sleep. Apply a lot of moisturizers and avoid hot water to prevent skin from drying.

Water to the Rescue

Do: Hydrate your skin by drinking a lot of water every day. Eat fruit and vegetables which have high water content.

Don’t: Forget to use rose water. It prevents eye puffiness and maintains pH of your skin and hydrates your skin naturally.
